Grafting with Sam Polly

Sam and his dad Jim Polly started a Apple Tree growing business as a part of Sam’s FFA (Future Farmers of America) project.  They have a large orchard in Fieldbrook and specialize in growing disease resistant trees for the Northcoast.  During the summer and fall you will see their apples at the local Farmers Market.   In this workshop you will actually graft your own tree onto a rootstock .  This is a hands on class and you take home a grafted tree.  We recommend that you bring a sharp pocket knife (we will provide the band aids).  Prepayment required as space is limited.

Time: 10:30 a.m.     Fee:  $20.00
